Position: Operations Supervisor

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $25 to $30/hour (Depending on experience)

Experience:

1. 1 year of experience as a ACT208 security guard is required.
2. 2 years of experience in management is required.

Education: Must possess or have the immediate ability to obtain a valid ACT 208 State of Hawaii Security Guard Employee Registration Card. A 2-year college degree is preferred.

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Job Description:

1. Directly supervise and provide leadership to a large and diverse team of security personnel working at various client sites across Oahu.
2. Effectively manage staff with challenging behaviors, providing coaching, disciplinary action, and performance reviews to ensure professional conduct and adherence to standards.
3. Collaborate with Human Resources on the hiring process, and oversee the onboarding and continuous field training of new and existing officers.
4. Develop and maintain efficient and cost-effective schedules to ensure 24/7 client coverage, managing call-outs, time-off requests, and emergency shift fill-ins.
5. Ensure all assigned sites are operating in strict accordance with the client’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contractual requirements.
6. Conduct regular, unannounced site visits and inspections to verify guard performance, professional appearance, and adherence to company policies.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, proactively addressing concerns, resolving service issues promptly, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
8. Oversee the handling, investigation, and reporting of major incidents, ensuring timely and accurate communication to clients and senior management.
9. Ensure 100% compliance with all State of Hawaii security guard licensing requirements, including the ACT 208 Guard Employee Registration Card (Guard Card) for all personnel.
10. Review and approve all security reports, incident logs, and daily activity reports for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
11. Monitor and manage labor costs and operational expenses for assigned accounts to meet budgetary goals.

Position Requirements:   

1. Valid Driver's License
2. Must possess or have the immediate ability to obtain a valid ACT 208 State of Hawaii Security Guard Employee Registration Card.
3. Must have excellent common sense and sound judgment in high-stress and critical decision-making situations.
4. Proven ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), strong organizational skills, and proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
5. Must possess a reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license to conduct site visits across Oahu.
